Dr. Robert Levine: Optometrist

Dr. Levine is a Marin native. He grew up in San Anselmo, went to Brookside Elementary and Drake High School. He did his undergraduate studies at the University of California in Davis and his professional schooling at the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton.

Dr. Levine has been practicing here in Marin since his graduation in 1979. His office specializes in Family Eye Care. In fact, he is still providing eye care to some patients who he originally examined in 1979. He dispenses all types of contact lenses including, gas permeable, soft, disposable, astigmatic, extended wear and bifocal lenses. He is also associated with surgeons performing refractive (laser) surgery.

Over the years, Dr. Levine has been involved with local schools and other organizations. He gives lectures regarding vision and eye care, and his office regularly donates auction items to local non-profits and schools for fund raising events.

Donell Ellingson: Office Manager

Donell is a 13 year veteran of Marin Optometric Group. A graduate of St. Cloud State University in Minnesota, she joined our staff in 1990. Donell handles the day to day operations of the office. She is always available to answer any question you might have concerning your eye examination or eyewear purchase and strives to ensure that all of our patients receive the best possible vision care.
